Slacklines: Who hasn't heard of them yet? They seem to be everywhere these days. The release of the first slackline movie was just a question of time. Sceptically we started watching “ELEMENTS – A Slackline Adventure” without any great expectations, but afterwards we were fascinated!
If you don't know what to do with your leisure time and have some money in your pocket, go buy a slackline, pick up your friends and you are 'in'. Although we all are enthusiastic slackliners, the whole thing is starting to tick us off – and slacklining is still quite a young sport.
But the film “ELEMENTS – A Slackline Adventure” pushes slacklining up to another level. The production company AtelierBusche.MEDIA created a brilliant and captivating film without any help through sponsoring or advertising.
We feared that the 60 minute film would drag on a bit, but spectacular landscape shots, interesting portraits and interviews quickly convinced us otherwise. “Elements” is not the typical action packed outdoor sports film. It gives us an insight into the attitude and the lifestyle of this young, strong and nature-loving community.
Highlines in Ticino, Yosemite, the Bavarian Alps, Waterlines on Lake Constance or the crossing of a glacier crevasse in the Mont Blanc region make “ELEMENTS – A Slackline Adventure” absolutely worth seeing.
Have fun! |
