People hear about slacklining now from insiders of the climbing scene. Slacklining stands for freedom, experiencing nature and finding out about ones limits.
The Documentary "ELEMENTS - A Slackline Adventure" produced by Sebastian Runschke and Miriam Zimmermann, follows a group of slackliners. From easy slacklining close to the ground up to slacklining over a crevasse and the legendary Lost Arrow Spire in Yosemite (USA), the film shows impressive pictures and what this sport actually means to slackliners. The audience takes part in the emotional highs and lows of the slackliners. In interviews and their own explanations the slackliners tell us how this sport came to life and share their know-how with us.
In an extensive extras-part on the DVD you can find the Making Of but also additional slackline actions, that are not included in the main film. For example a 60 meters long line across a lake, a walk over a marina entrance in Bregenz or a balancing act between two driving cars.
Additionally you can find information about slacklining in the workshop sequence. For example how to set up lines correctly, which materials are suitable especially for highlines as well as tips for beginners.
